Today we started our Early Neurological Stimulation protocols with the pups. These simple exercises are designed to help the pup's nervous system learn about and appropriately respond to environmental stress. We really want all our puppies to live their best lives. Leading them through the Early Neurological Stimulation exercises is just one small way that we help give them a jump start to being fabulous dogs and family members!
The puppies have started to get their dark skin pigmentation over the last 24 hours. When they are born the cream Goldens and Doodles all have pink noses and feet but at 72-96 hours old their pigment starts to come in. While their hair will remain the light cream, only perhaps darkening ever so slightly by adulthood, this is not true for their skin. It is very fun to watch them darken into their real color. The spots darkening on this little guy's feet are truly adorable! If you look back through our previous posts you will see that all the noses are pink but now they are all black!
