Puppies are here!

We have been eagerly awaiting the delivery of this summer's litter. Holi always has the most adorable, sweet, gentle puppies and we knew that this time would be no different! And on July 2nd Holi delivered her perfect puppies! She was a complete rockstar during labor and just loves her babies so much.

This is the largest litter we have ever had- 12 puppies!!! There are 7 males and 5 females. Everyone is labeled with a colored dot so that we can keep track of weight gain, nail trims, and more. When they get a bit bigger each puppy with be given it's own collar and the colored dots will fade away.

For now the puppies' eyes are fused shut and they navigate by smell, but in 10-12 days their eyes will open and they will begin to explore their world. In the meantime, they are eating as much as possible and growing fast. Each puppy is weighed daily and they are expected to double their birthweight in approximately 7 days.
