Exciting News! Yesterday evening we welcomed Cime's puppies!
After a slow start to labor we opted to bring Cime in for a C-Section. This was her first C-section but she did great! The pups were brave through the whole thing and are thriving.

The vet was equipped with an incubator box to keep the pups warm while Cime's surgery was finished. Everyone got weighed and fed while they waited. Each pup was marked with a colored ribbon so that we can keep track of everyone going forward. For the first 10-14 days they will be weighed twice daily to make sure everyone is thriving. We will also start exercises with them on day 3 of life and the ribbons will help us tell everyone apart.

After Cime came out of her surgery she was reunited with her pups for some cuddling and nursing. Even all groggy she was so happy to have her babies!

We'll be back soon with more pictures, updates, and news! But for now we're off to cuddle pups!
